Congratulations to the U11's and the U13 Black teams for winning their respective grand finals played last Saturday (28 Aug 2010) at Barden Ridge Oval. Thanks to the Bangor Tigers for hosting a great grand final day! It's a wonderful achievement for the club to have two teams in the Grand Final and for both to take their premiership flag home! Well done to all the players! Go Bombers Go ! ! !

Ground Redevelopment Update
Great news - the ground redevelopment project is progressing very well. The combined AFL/Bombers/Southern Power master plan was shown and presented to the SSC Mayor and her representatives with support in principle for the project which will provide a quality regional AFL facility for the Shire. The Sub-Committee is now going through the process of securing funding. At present the AFL have indicated in principle contribution and support of up to 10% with both the senior and junior clubs providing 5% each. SSC have indicated that a subsidy for the provision of toilet may attract approximately $120k. State and Federal Governments are being approached for dollar matching contributions.
