In recognition of the importance of long serving players and volunteers to the Miranda Bombers Australian Football Club, a program of presenting service awards will be undertaken annually.
The Club will formally recognise the service of Players and Volunteers as follows:-
Player Service Recognition Awards
5 years - Certificate signed by Club President and a medal
10 years - Certificate signed by Club President and a trophy
Volunteers Service Recognition Awards
5 years Certificate signed by Club President
10 Years Certificate signed by Club President
15 Years Certificate signed by Club President and a medal
Eligibility will be based on the following criteria:-
Player Service Recognition Awards - Players service awards are calculated on "continuous" service based on availability to register as a player for the Club. Assessments will be made on a case by case basis. Service to the club may be broken under exceptional circumstances depending on injuries, illnesses and/or residential location. Ultimately the award will be decided by the Executive Committee.
Volunteers Service Recognition Awards - Volunteers are classified as Coaches, Managers, Canteen manager or Club Committee members that give up their time to provide services to the Club. Assessments will be made on a case by case basis. Service to the club may be continuous or with breaks, full year or part year and will be decided by the Executive Committee.
