Under 10s, 11s and 12s

Essentially in these age groups the rules are modified, tackling is limited in extent, and players are restricted in how many bounces of the ball they may make before disposal is required.  The purpose of the modified rules is to encourage skill development and prevent "better" players from dominating the play.  The size of the field and ball is also modified.

Under 14s and 16s

These grades play under the full rules of senior AFL.
